ABOUT OSTEOPATHY:

Osteopathy is a manual therapy that focuses on the mechanical correction of asymmetry and restriction of motion in the body. An osteopath is trained to assess and treat all areas of the body. Once problem areas are identified, technique is applied to return those areas to normal function. The goal of treatment is a lasting reduction in pain, and a boost to overall health and wellness. The most common issues addressed include chronic or acute back pain, neck pain, shoulder/elbow/wrist/hand, hip/knee/ankle/foot, headache, TMJ, numbness and tingling. Osteopathy is suitable for all age groups, and can in some cases help with health conditions other than just the muscles, joints and connective tissue. Please wear non-restrictive clothing to your appointment, such as a T-shirt and sweat-pants. You may experience some soreness and fatigue following treatment.
